In the
fall of 2007, ICCS initiated “Building on Tradition” and announced
the goal of raising $3.5 million. The capital campaign is a parish
project endorsed by Bishop Glen John Provost and Monsignor Jace
Eskind, and embraced by our Cathedral community.
Reaching our goal will enable us to construct an additional
building on the same land where St. Charles Academy once stood.
The addition will house four classrooms, student restrooms, a
state of the art library equipped with a technology center, a chapel
and additional rooms for fine arts, as well as for students with
special needs.
The
Building On Tradition committee made up of ICCS parents enjoyed
tremendous early success in obtaining leadership gifts.
The cpaital campaign continues as to complete the repayment of the
$500,000 loan secured by the Cathedral parish. We need the support of
our current families through donations and pledges, no matter how
big or how small.
Rich in values and tradition, Immaculate Conception Cathedral School
has been providing excellence in Catholic education for more than
125 years. This capital
campaign will help ensure the future of our Cathedral school while
providing the much needed expansion to our school campus.
We thank you for your consideration and support of Immaculate
Conception Cathedral School.
