PreK-5th Enrichments

Enrichment Description
Computer Study of computer literacy and keyboarding with an integration of core subjects. Students use cutting-edge technology to create digital projects and enhance classroom instruction while learning how technology is used in the real world. Students also learn about Internet safety, copyright laws, ethics, netiquette, and cyberbullying.
Library Study of basic skills needed to become independent library patrons, fostering a love of reading and literature, emphasizing library organization, using the electronic catalog, and use in standard library materials such as books, encyclopedias, and almanacs to locate information.
Music Emphasizing the Kodaly Philosophy, Music uses folk music and Liturgical music in order to enhance our worship services through student participation. Various opportunities to perform include a Christmas concert and an end-of-the-year program.
Choir Performance of liturgical music at Masses and secular and sacred music at concerts throughout the school year for 5th graders only.
Physical Education Learning, developing, and applying skills needed for personal fitness utilizing standards for Presidential and National Fitness Awards.
Spanish A brief introduction to Spanish taught through appropriate grade level curricula.
Visual Arts Creative, intellectual, and aesthetic study of art through the application of media techniques and processes with knowledge of art elements and principles of design.
