Middle School Literature Teacher
The Middle School Literature Teacher is responsible for teaching literature and language arts to students in grades 6-8. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, fostering student growth in the areas of reading and writing, assessing student progress, and supporting students' critical thinking and analytical skills. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and participate in school events. The ideal candidate would possess strong knowledge of literature, effective classroom management, and the ability to motivate young learners. Teaching certificate preferred.
Art Teacher
As a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade art teacher, you'll let your students discover new ways to express themselves through visual mediums. This candidate is responsible for developing and implementing engaging art lessons tailored to each grade level Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. This position requires knowledge of the fundamentals of art concepts, techniques, and art history. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, assess student progress, communicate with parents, and participate in school events. Prospective art teachers should have a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field. Art teaching certificate preferred for K-12 grade levels.
Substitute Teacher
Substitutes are responsible for maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Duties include delivering pre-planned lessons, managing student behavior, assisting with classroom activities, and ensuring students remain on task. The substitute teacher fosters a safe, supportive, and engaging atmosphere while helping students meet educational goals.
