LOWER ELEMENTARY
Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade
Our Lower Elementary School teachers focus on a unique balance of social, emotional, physical, moral, and academic development that targets specific learning milestones. Our research-driven teaching methods and best classroom practices encourage collaboration, cooperation, and the development of independent thinking. Social, collaborative activities are specifically utilized to foster cognitive growth. Respectful play-based and friendship-oriented experiences help develop successful, well-rounded students who are best prepared for the Upper Elementary Program.

Religious Education & Faith Formation
Religious formation and spiritual development are at the heart of everything we do at Immaculate Conception Cathedral School. We live out the Catholic Faith as a school by providing the students with activities on the prayers of the Church and sacramental development:
- Adoration
- Advent Prayer Services
- Annual ICCS Feast of St. Francis Pet Blessing
- The Atrium (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd)
- Catholic Schools Week
- Class-Led Service Projects
- Disciple of Christ--Education in Virtue Program
- Friendzy
- Grade-Level Retreats
- Lenten Prayer Services
- Living Rosary Program
- Living Stations of the Cross
- May Crowning
- School Masses
- School-wide Daily Angelus or Regina Coeli Prayer
ICCS welcomes families of any faith. Students are required to participate in Catholic Theology classes. Theology is considered a core subject and grades are included in the report card. During school Masses, prayer services, and any religious activity/event, we ask that all students attend and are reverent.
