MIDDLE SCHOOL

6TH GRADE, 7TH GRADE, AND 8TH GRADE

In the ICCS Middle School Program, our teachers focus on a unique balance of academic, moral, and social development that targets specific learning milestones within core subject areas. Our research-driven teaching methods and best classroom practices encourage collaboration, cooperation, and the development of independent thinking. Within the framework of a challenging and engaging curriculum is a highly structured employment of teaching methods and expectations. The middle school program centers around developing personal responsibility and skills to benefit executive functioning. Through a strong, collaborative, and exploratory-based curriculum, our students are provided with content-focused enriched studies that put them on the path to success in their future academic careers.

UNIQUE MIDDLE SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES AND PROGRAMS

Students in 6th-8th Grades enjoy a variety of enrichment courses each nine-week session including, but not limited to Printmaking, Hand Bells, Knitting, Junior Achievement, Robotics, Spring Musical Performance, Panther News Network, Dramatic Arts Performance, Quiz Bowl, Recyclable Art, Techies, Yearbook Staff, and Study Skills.  

HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT

Eligible 8th Grade students may take Algebra I, English I, and Spanish I for High School credit.
