WE VALUE EDUCATION
We believe in the value of an Immaculate Conception Cathedral School education and are committed to make ICCS an accessible option to everyone. No family pays 100% of the cost to educate a child. Through the generous support of donors, fundraising events, ICCS Trust Fund, and other initiatives, the cost of tuition has already been supplemented for every student.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
It is our goal to make Immaculate Conception Cathedral School an accessible option to every applicant. If a newly admitted or current family is undergoing financial hardships, please reach out to Jessica Hart at jhart@iccsweb.com to discuss your options. Below is some helpful information on funding and tuition assistance available to our ICCS families.
Subsidy Form
If you belong to a Catholic Church Parish that subsidizes school tuition, a form may be submitted to receive a discounted tuition rate. Tuition discounts are determined by your parish Pastor. Please download the following form and submit to your parish Pastor for approval.
Click HERE for the 2026-2027 Subsidy form.
NOTE: All NEW families MUST submit a parishioner verification form. This validates admission priority status.
It is the parents' and/or guardian's responsibility to apply/re-apply for scholarships or grants, explore scholarship or grant opportunities, or adhere to their respective release dates and deadlines.
ACE: Guidelines can be found HERE. The 2026-2027 application for new and returning students has closed. ACE Scholarships are partial tuition, intended to provide added assistance lower-income families may need to enroll their child in a private school. Standard ACE award amounts are approximately $4,200 for K-8 and $4,500 for high school, not to exceed the cost of tuition and fees. Families are responsible for working out a payment plan with the school for the remainder of the tuition.
Detailed information, including updated income eligibility guidelines can be found HERE. Additionally, important information for both parents and schools can be found in our Help Center.
Arete: Provides private K-12 scholarships exclusively to qualifying low-to-moderate-income students. The scholarships empower parents who otherwise have limited options to select a school that best meets their child's unique gifts, talents, and learning needs. Maximum scholarship amounts: $4,400 for grades K-8; or $4,950 for grades 9-12. Guidelines can be found HERE.
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year have closed. The Arete website suggests to bookmark this LINK and check for updates regarding the upcoming school year.
- Arete scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and an application is not complete until all required documents are submitted. A completed application does not guarantee a scholarship.
- Arete will notify families in May and June on the status of their application.
LA Gator (formerly LA Scholarship): Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, the LA GATOR Scholarship Program replaced the Louisiana Scholarship Program (LSP).
The LDOE has partnered with Odyssey to manage the program’s application process and marketplace. Odyssey will provide families, schools, and service providers with assistance on applications, account management, and navigating the marketplace.
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year closed on Monday, March 16 at 11:59 p.m. The 2027-2028 application date has not yet been announced.
FAQ sheet provided by the LDOE can be found HERE.

Folds of Honor Scholarship: Guidelines can be found HERE. The 2026-2027 applications have closed. These scholarships are available to spouses and children of fallen or disabled military and/or first responders.
- Scholarship awards are up to $5,000.
- Applicants must reapply each year.
- Offer or denial notifications will be sent mid-July.
DOLC Bishop Scholarship: The Bishop’s Scholarship Fund for Catholic Schools, a tuition assistance program, has been established to help parents who desire to educate their children in a Catholic school but are financially unable to meet the full tuition requirement. This fund provides money to each Catholic school in the Diocese of Lake Charles. Families must complete an application every year and remit to lmiddleton1@iccsweb.com. The application for the 2026-2027 school year has been closed.
